Comprehensive One Time Psychosocial Assessments

At Imani Holistic Counseling, we offer several comprehensive one-time clinical assessments designed to support your healthcare, legal, or treatment needs. These evaluations involve structured clinical interviews and validated screening tools to provide an in-depth understanding of your concerns and needs.
Following the assessment, a detailed written report or clinical documentation is completed and provided to you and/or the appropriate members of your care or legal team to support next steps in treatment, services, or legal processes.
Please note: We do not offer ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments at this time.
Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment
This evaluation includes a detailed clinical interview and standardized screening tools used to assess for a range of mental health concerns. The assessment provides a clearer understanding of symptoms, emotional functioning, and areas where support may be beneficial.
Following the evaluation, a comprehensive report is completed outlining clinical impressions, recommended treatment options, and referrals to appropriate services or programs when needed.
Immigration Clinical Evaluation
Immigration evaluations are conducted over two clinical interview sessions and include the use of structured clinical screening tools to gain a detailed understanding of your personal history, psychological experiences, and current needs.
Collaboration with your immigration attorney and their legal team is required to obtain the necessary documentation for the evaluation. A comprehensive clinical report is then prepared and provided to your legal team to support your immigration case.
Trauma Assessment
This evaluation includes one to two detailed clinical interview sessions along with evidence-based trauma screening tools. The assessment focuses on understanding trauma history, current symptoms, and how past experiences may be affecting emotional functioning.
Following the evaluation, a detailed report is prepared and provided to the referring provider (such as a physician, therapist, school, or other professional) to support appropriate care planning and treatment.
Bariatric Psychosocial Evaluation for Surgery
This evaluation assesses psychological readiness and behavioral factors related to weight loss surgery. The process includes a clinical interview and screening tools designed to evaluate emotional readiness, understanding of the procedure, and ability to make the necessary long-term lifestyle changes.
Evaluations are conducted in alignment with guidelines from the American Society for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (ASMBS). After the evaluation is completed, a clinical note and letter of approval are prepared and sent directly to your bariatric surgery team.
