Substance Abuse Screening Tools

Service Description

Date: November 13th, 2021 - Time: 10AM - 12PM - Location: Virtual In this workshop, we will discuss what substance abuse is per the DSM-V and what has happened in this country with substance abuse (historical and modern understandings). After having that established framework on substance abuse we will review different substance abuse screening tools and how to use them, score them, and when to use one over another. You will receive copies of the assessment tools that we will go over and discuss. The workshop will last 1.5 hours with the last 30 minutes for a Q&A. There will be a training workshop evaluation given and a certificate of attendance will be given (not for CEU credit). This is not a CEU course but a training workshop.
